What is fertiliser?

All decent fertilisers will display the NPK percentages on their label. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). Hydro Lawn Solutions uses specifically formulated fertiliser combinations to to cater for your lawn type and the season. Nitrogen promotes healthy growth in your lawn. Phosphorus is for strong root growth and helps convert the energy created by photosynthesis into actual growth. Potassium strengthens your lawn to help it to build up resistance against diseases and drought stress. A lack of potassium is easily noted by a yellowing lawn, very relevant to the Fraser Coast. We combine additional elements in our mix that assist with water retention, microbes and lawn health.
